Our beginner nail course is suitable for all ages. This course will help you begin your journey into starting out as a nail tech. You will learn how to build your very own Nail Tech Business. We will teach you the practical skills in nail enhancements to include for Extensions, BIAB, Gell Polish, Nail Art plus the business tools to help you start your own Nail Business. This in person course will take place at Rua Red Arts Centre in Tallaght, It is run over 4 weeks, one day per week, 3 hours per day.

Course Details

This course will teach you the foundations in Gel Nails, Biab & Gel Polish. It is suitable for beginners of all ages. You will work in class on a doll hand. You will work on friends & family outside of class to provide 3 before and after photos in order to receive you certificate. This course comes with a full kit that includes everything you need to get started in the Nail Business. You will get access to a suite of easy to follow videos, step by step manuals and you’ll be invited to join a private group where you will receive continued support to help you build your confidence and your business.

This beginner nail enhancement course is designed for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in the beauty industry or simply want to learn how to enhance their own nails. In this course, students will learn the fundamental techniques and skills required for nail enhancement, including acrylic nails, gel nails, and nail art.

The course will cover the following topics:

Nail anatomy and physiology: Students will learn about the structure and function of the nails, including the different layers and components of the nail.
Nail preparation: Proper nail preparation is essential for successful nail enhancement. Students will learn how to prep the nails for acrylic or gel application, including cuticle care, filing, and shaping.
Acrylic nails: Students will learn how to create beautiful, durable acrylic nails using a variety of techniques, including sculpting, tipping, and overlay.
Gel nails: Gel nails are a popular alternative to acrylics, and this course will cover the application of gel nails using UV and LED light.
Nail art: Students will learn how to create beautiful nail art designs using a variety of techniques, including freehand painting, stamping, and embellishments.

Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to practice their skills on live models or mannequin hands under the guidance of experienced instructors. Students will also learn about sanitation and safety procedures to ensure that they are providing safe and hygienic nail enhancement services.

By the end of the course, students will have the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in nail enhancement or to enhance their own nails.
